JOSEPH GUANELLA, long and favorable known in this city, died at the residence of his father at 11 a.m. yesterday. At the early age of 33, he has fallen a victim to that insidious disease - consumption, mourned and lamented by a large circle of friends, with whom he formed attachments during a residence here of ten years.

The funeral will take place from the residence of his father, on Broadway, next door to the Bryant House, at 3 p.m. today and will be attended by the entire Fire Department in uniform.
