Funeral services were held for REINHARD HAGEDORN at the Blust Funeral Home at 2p.m. on Sunday, January 17th with Rev. G.B. Baumann of Minden officiating at the ceremony. Interment was in Graceland Cemetery. Music was furnished by the Minden Ladies Quartet with Mrs. Ralph Madsen of Minden accompanying on the piano.

Reinhard Jurgen Hagedorn was born July 7, 1899 in Pleasant Township, Pottawattamie County, Iowa, the son of the late Louis Hagedorn, who departed January 16, 1927, and his wife Verna nee, Rihner. He died after a lingering illness of two years on January 14, 1943 at 8:40 p.m. at his mother's home in Avoca at the age of forty-three years.

Surviving are his aged mother with whom he made his home, two brothers, Herman of Avoca and Sergeant Arthur of Warrenton, Virginia; two nieces, Alberta of Avoca, and Mrs. Charles Herd of Marianna, Florida. (No stone.)
