Mrs. Mary E. Halladay, 67, died at a local hospital, Sunday, of heart disease. She was a resident of Council Bluffs 30 years and made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Jennie Smith, route 4.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Jennie Smith, Council Bluffs; Mrs. Roy Oman, Verdal, Neb., Mrs. Cecil Powell, El Monte, Calif., Mrs. Archie William, El Monte, Calif.; 24 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Rounds of Council Bluffs, and Mrs. Gertie Bombarger, Tecumseh, Neb.

She was a member of the First Christian church.
