Edna Margaret Halm, 87, Minden, died Thursday at a Council Bluffs hospital following a long illness. She was born in Cass County and lived most of her life in the Minden area. She was a member of the United Church of Christ Ladies Circle and the Senior Citizens of Minden. Her husband, Adolph, died in 1955.

Mrs. Halm is survived by her son Barelle, Walnut Creek, CA; a daughter, Mrs. Berndine Jensen of Minden; sisters, Mrs. Emma Kaven, Minden, Mrs. Millie Bintz, Avoca, and Mrs. Clara Lidolph, Littleton, CO; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
