J. Henry F. Hammer
J. Henry F. Hammer a retired farmer and stock raiser of Mineola, died at Mercy Hospital Wednesday evening from kidney trouble. Mr. Hammer was 76 years of age. He was of German birth and has been a resident of Mineola for forty-five years and was a member of the Lutheran church and the I.O.O.F. at that place.
He leaves five children, Henry Hamer of Moville, Charles Hammer of Treynor, Mrs. John Deitchler of Mineola, Mrs. William Fay of Moville and Mrs. Andrew Kesselring of Carson. Also two stepsons, Assmus Bremmer of Bronson and Hans Bremmer of Lawton.
The body was removed to Cutler's mortuary to await funeral arrangements. The funeral will take place Saturday at 2 o'clock from the Lutheran church at Mineola. Rev. Sitzler will conduct the services. Interment will be in the Mineola Cemetery.
