MRS. GEORGE MULLIN HAMMERS, formerly Miss Helen Flickinger, died of pneumonia Wednesday, October 16, at Swissvale, PA, after a brief illness. The body was brought here for burial in the family lot.

Helen Flickinger Hammers was born in Council Bluffs. She was a graduate of the high school and later of Leland Stanford, Jr., University, afterwards spending some time in study and travel abroad. Since her marriage in July 1917 to Mr. Hammers, her home has been in Swissvale.

She is survived by her husband, mother, Mrs. Sarah E. Flickinger, and two sisters, the Misses Edith and Margaret Flickinger all of whom were present at the funeral services, held in Walnut Hill Cemetery Saturday afternoon.

Dr. F.W. Evans was in charge and the Elks quartet sang two numbers.
