THE OBITUARY OF Ira Hathaway

Ira L. Hathaway, 86, route 2, died friday at a local hospital following an extended illness. A native of Broken Bow, Nebraska, he lived the past 65 years in Council Bluffs, and retired from the plumbing trade in 1960. His wife, Minnie, died in 1947. Hathaway had no immediate survivors. He had been staying at the home of Mrs. Edythe Bledsoe, Route 2. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Meyer Chapel. The Rev. George Durkee, pastor of Pilgrim Holiness Church at Pacific Junction will officiate. Interment will be in the Evans Cemetery.
