Hans C. Hemmingsen, 87, Route 1, Honey Creek, died Monday at a local hospital after an illness of four months. Born in Denmark, he had lived in Pottawattamie County 67 years. He lived on the same farm in Honey Creek since 1905.

Survivors include: seven sons, Franklin of Council Bluffs, Scot and Duane both of Underwood, Glen of Neola, Everett of Honey Creek, Charles of Omaha and Robert of Sacramento, California; two daughters, Mrs. Fern Sorensen of Yakima, Washington, and Mrs. Mildred Dewaele of Onawa; 19 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
