Charles D. Henderson

A resident of Council Bluffs for 36 years, Charles D. Henderson, 68, of 2421 Avenue C, died Tuesday evening at his home following an illness of seven years. Born in Cook County, IL, Mr. Henderson was employed by the Regis Hotel in Omaha as stationary engineer. He was a member of the National Power Engineers.

He is survived by his widow, Sophia; one son, Albert of Council Bluffs; and one grandson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Meyer Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. C.R. Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
