THE OBITUARY OFWilliam Hill |
William Hill, 74, 1608 Avenue G, Negro, a resident of Council Bluffs for forty years, died Tuesday afternoon at the Mercy Hospital after three months illness.
He was born March 9, 1854, in Missouri and after coming to Council Bluffs was employed as chef at the Goodrich Hotel for many years. He later entered the furniture business with Charles Saltzman. There he spent the last twelve years.
He is survived by one son, Anthony Hill, 106 Fourth Street.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at the Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. J.P. Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
