L. C. Fauble Fauble--Brick construction in small houses has not been general by any means in Council Bluffs of recent years but L. C. Fauble, who owns several blocks of ground on Upper Harrison Street, has used it to good effect in the erection of a number of cottages in the 1100 block. Four of these comfortable little dwellings he has erected in the one block at a cost of $2,000 each. Each contains four large rooms and the entire front of each is crossed by a wide porch. 1100 Upper Harrison Street
L. L. Fauble Fauble--Just started and not far enough under way to give one an idea of anything more than its size, is the brick residence of L. L. Fauble at the corner of Harrison and Gordon Streets which, when finished, will be one of the more handsome dwellings of the city. The structure is to be built all on one floor but will contain about eight rooms. It is to be bungalow style and will cost about $10,000. Harrison and Gordon Streets
A. Fleak Fleak--A. Fleak has recently finished the building of a one story, frame residence at 2305 South Eighth Street at a cost of about $1,800. The house is modern and contains five rooms. 2305 South Eighth Street
Mrs. Mary French French--Of the two-story semi-bungalow style is the home of Mrs. Mary French at 244 Benton Street. The house is made attractive with a broad porch across the front. It is of frame construction and contains seven rooms. The cost was about $3,500. 244 Benton Street
Fulmer Fulmer--In the course of construction at the corner of Roosevelt and Military Avenues in Rohrer Park addition is the Fulmer home. The house is of a rambling cottage style, of frame construction and contains about seven rooms. The building is being erected by Joe Hansen. The cost will be about $3,000. J. E. Garside At 320 Lincoln Avenue, J. E. Garside has recently built a most attractive home at a cost in the neighborhood of $3,000. The place contains five nice rooms in the downstairs and also has a second story which has not been finished off into rooms. Modern in every respect, it is one of the prettiest little homes in the city. 320 Lincoln Avenue
Henry Gerber Gerber--The dwelling at 1631 Fifth Avenue, which Henry Gerber is erecting as a home, is one of the most attractive houses on the street. It is of frame construction, two stories in height and contains seven rooms. The cost will be $4,000. 1631 Fifth Avenue
H. G. Granstaff Granstaff--Upper Stahl Avenue, because of the large amount of grading necessary, had never been opened to vehicle travel but nevertheless, because of the natural beauty of the hilltop on which it runs, it is being built up with beautiful homes. One of these erected recently is that of H. G. Granstaff at 230, on one of the highest hills in the city. It contains six rooms, is one and one-half stories in height and cost about $2,500. 230 Granstaff
W. C. Grote Grote--At 710 Harrison Street W. C. Grote has constructed a large seven room house at a cost of about $3,000. The building is a story and a half in height and is thoroughly modern throughout.Mr. Grote has renters occupying the place. 710 Harrison Street
W. Gundlach Gundlach--A neat, five-roomed cottage has been built by W. Gundlach at 2100 South Ninth Street for his home. The house is of frame construction and cost about $1,500. 2100 South Ninth Street
George Guss Guss--The residence of George Guss at 1609 Avenue D is a one story frame cottage containing four rooms. It was erected this spring at a cost of about $1,500. 1609 Avenue D
C. Hafer Hafer--One of the largest frame residences built in Council Bluffs during the last year was that of C. Hafer on the south side of Pierce Street between First Street and Park Avenue. The house is two stories in height and of most charming design. It contains twelve rooms, has a sleeping porch in the rear and an interesting treatment of the half story roof. Its proximity to the Hafer Lumber Yard and Plant makes it particularly desirable to its owner. the cost of construction was about $7,000. Pierce Street between First Street and Park Avenue
O. Hakenson Hakenson--A neat five-room bungalow is being built on West Broadway near Thirty-third Street by O. Hakenson. The place will be modern when it is completed. It will cost about $2,000. West Broadway near Thirty-third Street
A. Hansen Hansen--One of the few homes located in the Rohrer Park District not owned by the occupants is that at 612 Oakland Drive, owned by A. Hansen. It is of frame construction, contains seven rooms and is one and one-half stories in height. It cost about $3,500. 612 Oakland Drive
H. Hansen Hansen--At a cost of about $2,500 H. Hansen has recently built an attractive little home at 2624 Avenue C. The house is one story, containing five comfortable rooms and is modern in all respects. 2624 Avenue C
Joe Hansen Hansen--Contractor Joe Hansen has erected two modern, six-roomd frame houses at 1241 and 1215 Sixth Avenue for renting purposes. The houses are two stories each and cost about $2,500. 1241 and 1215 Sixth Avenue
Lou Hansen Hansen--Located on one of several lots recently made building sites by considerable grading on one of the most picturesque hills in the city is located the semi-bungalow dwelling of Lou Hansen at 307 Franklin Avenue. The house is of frame construction, contains five rooms, is one and one-half stories in height and cost about $2,500. 307 Franklin Avenue
Nels Hansen Hansen--Nels Hansen has recently completed the construction of a modern frame cottage at 2205 South Sixth Street for renting purposes. The dwelling contains five rooms and a bath and cost about $2,500. 2205 South Sixth Street
Walter Hansen Hansen--The Walter Hansen home at 610 Oakland Drive is an attractive house of seven rooms. It is of frame construction and two stories in height. The cost was $3,500. 610 Oakland Drive
Fred Harsch Harsch--Of semi-bungalow type is the home of Fred Harsch at 326 North Seventh Street, which was completed this spring. The house is one and one-half stories in height, contains six rooms and cost about $2,000. 326 North Seventh Street
J. P. Hartwell Hartwell--An addition to the houses on East Street was built by J. P. Hartwell at No. 706. It is of frame construction, contains six rooms and is one and one-half stories in height. The rooms are large and regular in shape and finished in hard wood. The cost was $3,000. 706 East Street
Harry Hathaway Hathaway--The home of Harry Hathaway at 712 Military Avenue is just receiving its finishing touches. It is of the bungalow type, onestory in height and of frame construction. There are six rooms. The cost was about $3,000. 712 Military Avenue
Higgins Higgins--Recently completed, the Higgins frame bungalow at 656 Franklin Avenue is one of the most attractive in the new residence section on the west side of Franklin Avneue south of Beach Street. It is one and one-half stories in height and contains six rooms. The cost was about $2,000. 656 Franklin Avenue
J. V. Ingoldsby Ingoldsby--One of the few cement block residences erected in the city during the last year was that of J. V. Ingoldsby at 710 South Tenth Street. The house in full two stories in height and contains seven rooms. It is modern throughout and cost about $2.500. 710 South Tenth Street
Bessie James James--Bessie James is building at 1813 Avenue B a plain little home, which will contain five comfortable rooms. While the house will not be entirely modern, it will have city water and is wired for electricity. She is spending about $1,500 on the place. 1813 Avenue B
H. L. James James--H. L. James is just completing his new home at 1625 Avenue D at a cost of about $1,600. The house is of frame construction, contains four rooms and a bath and is one story in height. 1625 Avenue D
H. L. Jensen Jensen--one of the prettiest houses in one of the prettiest residence streets in the city is the eight room frame dwelling recently erected by H. L. Jensen at 433 Glenn Avenue. It is of frame construction, with great porches and a sleeping balcony, two stories in height and cost about $5,000. 433 Glenn Avenue
Julius Jensen Jensen--A new residence has just been finished at Twenty-fourth Avenue and South Tenth Street by Julius Jensen. The house is of frame construction, one story in height and contains five rooms. The cost was about $2,000. Twenty-fourth Avenue and South Tenth Street
L. C. Jensen Jensen--At 449 Park Avenue L. C. Jensen has a large seven room home which was built a short time ago at a cost of something in the neighborhood of $3,000. The house is a two story building and is modern in every detail. 449 Park Avenue
Lars Jensen Jensen--Lars Jensen is erecting a six-roomed modern residence at 149 Vine Street as an investment. The house is two stories in height, of frame construction and cost about $3,000. 149 Vine Street
Mrs. Lena Jensen Jensen--Mrs. Lena Jensen has a little modern home which she recently erected at 350 Willow Avenue. The house contains seven rooms and was built at a cost of about $2,500. 350 Willow Avenue
Fred Johnson Johnson--Fred Johnson has a home which is still in the process of construction at 240 Benton Street. The home when completed will have five nice rooms in it and will probably cost in the neighborhood of $3,000. It is a story and a half dwelling and will be entirely modern. 240 Benton Street
John Johnson Johnson--In the course of erection is the home of John Johnson at 2215 South Ninth Street. The house is to be one story in height, contain five rooms and be of frame construction throughout. The cost will be about $1,650. 2215 South Ninth Street
W. S. Johnson Johnson--Among the new residences built on Frank Street during the last year that of W. S. Johnson at 309, just above Perrin Avenue, is particularly attractive. It is of frame construction, one and one-half stories in height and contains seven rooms, with a sleeping porch in the rear. The cost was about $3,000. 309 Frank Street
Mrs. Josephine Jones Jones--At the corner of Angle and Graham Avenues there has recently been completed a two story frame house which has forced entrance into the list of the handsomest homes on the street. It contains seven rooms and was erected at a cost of $3,000 by Mrs. Josephine Jones. Angle and Graham Avenues
