James E. Hume

MISSOURI VALLEY -- Funeral services for James E. Hume, 78, Route 1, Honey Creek, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hennessy, Van Cleave and Hurley Chapel here with Elder Lawrence Mead of the Latter Day Saints Church officiating.

Burial will be in the Branson Cemetery in Loveland.

Hume died Monday at a Missouri Valley hospital.

He was a retired railroad employee and farmer and was a veteran of World War I.

He is survived by his widow, Ada; a son, Robert of Honey Creek; brother, Paul of Wenatchee, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Ferguson of Missouri Valley and Mrs. Opal Saar of Portersville, Calif.
