Martha Ellen James

Mrs. Martha Ellen James, 69, 2700 Second Avenue, died Monday at 9:30 a.m. of heart disease after an illness of eight weeks. A native of Henry County, Iowa, Mrs. James had lived here most of her life.

She is survived by her husband Noah James; five sons, Arthur, Ralph and Willard James of Council Bluffs; Wallace James of Omaha, Neb., and Donald James of Racine, Wisconsin, and two daughters, Mrs. Eva Burns of Flint, Michigan, and Mrs. Carl Homan of Council Bluffs. She leaves also two brothers, T.S. and J.H. Kelley of Council Bluffs. There are twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild. The body was removed to Cutler's Funeral Home.

Funeral

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Ellen James will be held at cutler's Chapel Wednesday at 2 p.m. the Rev. Gordon Gray officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
