Mrs. Vinnie Smith Jefferis, 76, 218 N. 1st Street, died Saturday at her home after an illness of several months. Mrs. Jefferis, the widow of Dr. Charles Jefferis, was a lifelong resident of Council Bluffs. There are no immediate survivors.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Cutler Funeral Home Chapel. The rev. Howard Dooley of the First Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
