Mrs. CARRIE JOHNSON, aged 83 years, wife of John E. Johnson, died of pneumonia Sunday night at her home, 27 Lynn Avenue, after an illness of but a few days.

She is survived by: three daughters Mrs. August Frulling of Council Bluffs; Mrs. Gus Anderson of Stanton; and Mrs. Frank Hamman of Clarinda, and one son, John J. Johnson of Council Bluffs. She also leaves twenty-one grandchildren.

The body will be taken to Stanton for burial.
