ROBERT JOHNSON, 6, who was struck by an automobile at Twenty-Fourth Street and Avenue C, Monday night, died at Mercy Hospital, Wednesday at 6 a.m. The lad never regained consciousness. Doctors attending him had said from the time of his admission to the hospital that his condition was extremely grave.

Robert was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Johnson, 2308 Avenue B. He was running diagonally across a street when a car driven by Mrs. W.P. Houton, 2428 Avenue C, knocked him down. One wheel of the car passed over the boy's head.

Besides his parents the boy is survived by: two brothers, Richard and Donald Johnson; a sister, Doris Mae Johnson, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Emerson and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Johnson all of Council Bluffs.
