George H. Johnson


George H. Johnson

George H. Johnson, 44 years old, restaurant and bakery owner of Oakland, lies dead in his home at that place as a result of pneumonia and a complication of other diseases. Death occurred Tuesday while Mr. Johnson was confined in Lord Lister Hospital, Omaha, where he had been taking treatments for rheumatism for several months. Pneumonia was contracted it is supposed, while on his way home of one of the Omaha visits.

Mr. Johnson was a native of Oakland, and had been in business there for about fourteen years. He had built up a lucrative business in association with his brother, Irving Johnson. He leaves a widow and two children, a son and a daughter, who are members of the Oakland High School.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Methodist Church.
