The funeral services of Mrs. Hannah Jones were held Wednesday at 11 o'clock from the Latter Day Saints Church at Crescent, IA., Rev. H.N. Hanson officiating. Burial in Crescent Cemetery.

Mrs. Hannah Jones was born in North wales in 1818; came to America in 1854 and settled in Pennsylvania. She was married to Owen Jones at St. Louis in 1858 and removed to Alton, IL. In 1861 they came to Pottawattamie County and have since lived here.

She died March 27 at the age of 87 years and leaves to mourn her departure a loving husband and a few distant relatives.
