On Sunday afternoon about 3 o'clock death entered the home of Mr. L.P. Judson, residing at 927 Sixth Avenue, and removed from suffering his venerable and beloved mother, Mrs. Julia Judson. For along time Mrs. Judson has been suffering from an internal cancer, that at times caused her most intense pain, but she bore it all with christian patience and fortitude, realizing it to be the Master's will, and cheerfully submerging her will in His, knowing that in His own good time she would be released from all pain and enter into eternal rest.

Mrs. Judson was born in Connecticut in December 1806, consequently had she lived until next December she would have been 82 years of age. About five years ago death claimed her husband, since which event she has made her home with her son, who is the only surviving child. She has been a resident of Council Bluffs for the past fifteen years, was greatly beloved by a large circle of friends and acquaintances. Her heart was always subject to charitable impulses, and many a heart will be saddened by knowledge that Grandma Judson has passed away. In addition to her son here, Mrs. Judson leaves a brother, who is a resident of Bristol, Wis.
