Magdalena Jurgens

Magdalena Jurgens, 81, died of complications Sunday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G.W. Beck of Norwalk Township, after an illness of seven weeks. She was born in Germany and had lived in Pottawattamie County since 1881.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. G.W. Beck of Norwalk Township; Mrs. Frank Christensen of Boomer Township, and Mrs. A.L. Burbridge of Logan, IA, and three sons, John Jurgens of Council Bluffs, and Carl and Henry Jurgens of Dumfries, IA. She also leaves 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Thursday with a short service at Cutler's Chapel at noon and at the Grange Church at 2 o'clock. Rev. Hoff of Treynor Officiating. Burial will be in Grange Cemetery.
