Word received here last night announces the death at Tacoma, Washington of THOMAS E. KELLY, formerly airbrake expert for the Union Pacific and Northwestern Railroads in this city, who left for Tacoma four months ago to accept a position as airbrake expert for the great Northern Road. Death was caused by influenza.

Mr. Kelly was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Kelly, 1706 Fourth Avenue. He was 32 years old and unmarried.
