Clayton C. Kuhn, 86, 232 Harrison Street, died Tuesday afternoon at a local hospital. Mr. Kuhn was a lifetime resident of Council Bluffs. He founded the Kuhn Flower Shop in 1923 and he and his wife Artence operated the business until 1965. He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church. He was a 65 year member of the following Masonic orders: Excelsior Lodge No. 259, F and A.M.; Scottish Rite; Tangier Shrine Temple, Omaha; Shrine A Patrol, Omaha; Harmony Chapter No. 25 Order of the Eastern Star, Harmony Council White Shrine of Jerusalem No. 27

He and his wife celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary last January. Other survivors include one nephew.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Cutler Funeral Home Chapel. the Rev. Lowell T. Knauss pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church and the Rev. Dr. Richard D. Hogan, pastor of First Christian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
