Funeral for Emil A. Lehmkuhl, 81, Honey Creek was held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home with the Rev. David Kuhnle of St. John's Lutheran Church in Honey Creek officiating. Mr. Lehmkuhl died December 14, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital. He was born in Honey Creek. He farmed retiring in 1930 and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Honey Creek and the Pottawattamie County Farmers Union, and a volunteer at Bethany Lutheran Home. Mr. Lehmkuhl and his wife, Mildred, were married 53 years.

Survivors include: wife, Mildred; daughter, Beverly Krumwiede of Honey Creek; three sisters, Anna Mae Jacky of Kennewick, WA, Patricia Gislain and husband, Fred, of Naperville, IL, and Betty Mercer of Phoenix; three grandchilddren, three great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
