THE OBITUARY OF

Alexander W. Long

Alexander W. Long, one of the best known residents of Council Bluffs, father of George W. Long, died yesterday morning at the age of 84 years. He had been in feeble health for four yers. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon with burial in Fairview Cemetery.

Mr. Long had been a resident of Council Bluffs for seventeen years. He leaves the following children: Mrs. Mary Katzenmyer of Omaha; Mrs. Minnie Miller, Ironton, MO; Mrs. Julia Parker, Cheyenne, Wyoming; Mrs. Ann Dickson, Eau Claire, Wisconsin; George W. Long of Council Bluffs, Frank Long of Cedar Rapids, Alexander Long of Omaha and William Long of Horse Creek Wyoming.
