THE OBITUARY OFWalter A. Longeway |
WALTER A. LONGEWAY, 49, engineer on the Rock Island Railroad, died at his home, 1415 High Street, Sunday morning after an illness of ten months.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Ellen Longeway; one daughter, Mrs. Edward Leick of Council Bluffs; three sons, Kenneth and Bernard, at home, and Dr. Walter Longeway of Denver, Colorado; his parents, Mr.and Mrs. Thomas Longeway of Council Bluffs; two brothers, Ray Longeway and Earl Longeway of council Bluffs; five sisters, Mrs. Walter Marking of Clarion, Mrs. Ben Grahl, Mrs. Elmer Jabens, Mrs. Hazel Callister and Mrs. H.M. Martins of Council Bluffs.
The body will be removed from the Beem-Belford Funeral Home to the residence to lie in state until the hour of the funeral at St. Francis Xavier's Church, Wednesday at 9 a.m. Requiem High mass will be celebrated by Rev. James P. Danahey.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery
