Deborah M. Malcom

Miss Deborah M. Malcom, aged 77, who yesterday noon died at the residence of her brother, Dr. Malcom, on Bancroft Street. Miss Malcom was well-known in this city.

Miss Malcom came to this city with her brother twenty years ago, and have with the exception of a few years’ residence in Florence, Neb., has been continued dwellers among us.

The funeral will take place from the residence of Dr. Malcom, at two o’clock tomorrow afternoon. Friends of the family are respectfully invited to govern themselves accordingly.

The mother and sister of Dr. Malcom and the deceased died in this city. Miss Malcom died of lung fever, superinduced by a cold contracted while passing between her home and the bedside of a suffering friend.

Funeral

At 2 o’clock this afternoon the funeral of Miss Deborah M. Malcom will take place from the residence of her brother, Doctor Malcom, on Bancroft Street.

The following gentlemen will act as pallbearers: Messrs. Biggs, Hanthorn, Thomas, Forman, Everett and James.

The silver plate for her coffin was purchased by Mr. E. Rosencrans, and was neatly engraved by C. B. Jacquomin & Co.
