Cpl. William Malick Killed in Action

Cpl. William Malic, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Malick, 213 Ninth Avenue, has been killed in action in the Asiatic area, according to word received here by his parents from the war department Wednesday. Cpl. Malick, a graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School in 1940, was a member of the U.S. Army Air Corps, and served as a radio operator. He had been in the army for two years, 15 months of which he had spent in India. In addition to his parents, two sisters, Mary Jane and Kathleen, and two brothers, Robert and James. all at home, survive.
