Miss MARY MARCHBANKS, aged 14 years, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Marchbanks of Rural Route 1, Honey Creek, died of influenza at 6 o'clock Thursday morning at Jennie Edmundson Memorial Hospital. She and her sister, Miss Nettie Marchbanks were brought to the hospital several days ago, suffering with the influenza.

Survivors besides her parents and sister, she is survived by a sister Miss Maggie Marchbanks and three brothers, Roy, at Camp Dodge; Lee, in France with Company L of the 168th Infantry, and Allen, at home.

The funeral will be held Saturday. The funeral cortege will leave King's Chapel at 11 a.m. and go direct to Crook Cemetery, one and one-half miles north of Honey Creek, where short services will be conducted by Rev. Mether of the M.E. Church at Crescent. The funeral will be private.
