Ella L. Mark, died at a local hospital after a short illness. She was the widow of Reginald Mark who died in 1982. Mrs. Mark was a lifelong resident of Council Bluffs, member of St. John's United Church of Christ; Amber Star Chapter 328, Order of Eastern Star at Quick; Women's International Bowling Association and bowled in the Senior citizen League.

Survivors include one son, Melvin of Council Bluffs; three brothers, Harvey Tiarks of Treynor, Julius Tiarks of Council Bluffs and William Tiarks of Underwood; four sisters, Mrs. Liz Graalfs, Mrs. Herman (Irma) Mils, Mrs. Arlene McKern and Mrs. Eldon (Ethel) Olsen all of Council Bluffs and two grandchildren.
