Mrs. Mary Lavina Marshbanks

Mrs. Mary Lavina Marshbanks*, 48, died Friday at the family home, 3516 Avenue D, after a prolonged illness.

She is survived by her husband, William Marshbanks*; two daughters, Miss Maggie May at home and Mrs. Nettie Joslyn of this city, and three sons, Roy at home and Allen and Lee of Bakersfield, CA. Besides the immediate family she leaves her father, William Anderson of Honey Creek; two sisters, Mrs. Alva Jones of Omaha and Mrs. Dycie Foreman of Dallas Falls, CA, and one brother, George Anderson of Honey Creek.

She had been a resident of Council Bluffs for the past four years, coming here from their farm near Honey Creek, where she had lived for twenty years. Mrs. Marshbanks* had been confined to her bed for the past thirteen years and took a sudden change for the worse last Friday and grew gradually worse until the end came.

The body was removed to King's Chapel. (Crook Cemetery, no gravestone)
