William C. Martin, 84, 1911 Avenue C, died Thursday at a local hospital after five months illness. Born in Illinois, he was a Council Bluffs resident since 1919. He was a retired construction worker.

Survivors include: three sons, Arthur, Lloyd and Virgil, all of Council Bluffs; three daughters, Mrs. Leo Porter, Mrs. Walter Marshall and Mrs. Paul Moon, all of Council Bluffs; brother, Leu Martin of Gowrie; sister, Mrs. Sadie Bell of Fontana, California.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Cutler Chapel. The Rev. Homer Caskey will officiate. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
