The funeral of the late James Middleton took place yesterday from the undertaking rooms of Charles Lunkley, the remains being buried in Fairview.

Middleton was one of the early comers to this city. He was a stage driver for years, and when the railroads came to Council Bluffs he followed the frontier westward and spent twenty years or more in Wyoming. He returned to this city about three years ago.
