Christopher Overard Mynster, was born June 24, 1796, in Copenhagen, Denmark, and died in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on August 16, 1852, of Cholera.

He is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Section C, Lot 177 (WPA record). There is no gravestone.
