THE OBITUARY OFMary M. (Wolf) Newberry |
Mrs. Mary M. Newberry, daughter of Peter D. and Nancy A. Wolf, was born near Racine, Ohio, November 18, 1866. She departed this life September 27, 1918, aged 51 years, 11 months and 11 days.
On October 13, 1886, she was united in marriage with N.C. Newberry at the old Ohio home. To this union two children were born: Dale H. who is at home, and Gladys, who departed this life March 12, 1918. Besides her husband and son Dale, she leaves two brothers and one sister who reside in Ohio. The family moved to Council Bluffs April 15, 1902, from New Brighton, PA.
Mrs. Newberry had been a very worthy member of the Methodist Church since 1882. She was patient and hopeful throughout her long sickness and always expressed a loving confidence in the leading of the Christ. Her memory will always be an inspiration to her husband and son. Services were held in the Fifth Avenue M.E. Church on Sunday, September 29, and the remains were laid to rest in Walnut Hill cemetery.
