JAMES O'CONNOR, aged 88 years, died Friday afternoon at Mercy Hospital.

He is survived by: his widow, four sons and three daughters. The sons are: Frank O'Connor; Winner South Dakota; John O'Connor, Council Bluffs; James O'Connor, Coleridge, Nebraska and Michael O'Connor, South Omaha. The daughters are: Mrs. J. Bottonly, Albia, Iowa; Mrs. M.J. Sullivan, Council Bluffs and Mrs. W.L. Scott, Clinton, Minnesota.

The funeral will be at 9 a.m. from St. Francis Church with solemn requiem high mass. Rev. Fr. McManus, celebrant; Rev. Fr. Quinn, deacon and Rev. Fr. Powers, subdeacon. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
