Sarah E. Ostrom

Mrs. H.J. OSTROM, AGED 52 YEARS, DIED OF Spanish Influenza at 10 o'clock Tuesday night at Mercy Hospital after an illness of one week. The family home is at 3628 Third Avenue.

She is survived by a husband and twelve children. The children are: John, Oklahoma; Henry, Denver; Charles, Omaha; Bruce, Omaha; Charles, Camp Pike, Mynett, Camp Pike; William, James, Alleine, Mary, at home; Mrs. Louisa Gaston, Council Bluffs.

Triple Funeral To Be Held

A triple funeral will be held this afternoon for members of the HARRY J. OSTROM family, father, mother and daughter, whose deaths occurred during the week. Mrs. SARAH OSTROM and her daughter, Mrs. HARRIETT FRANCES ALEXANDER, wife of Alonzo James Alexander, died Tuesday, within an hour of each other, the mother at Mercy Hospital and the daughter at the Jennie Edmundson Memorial Hospital. The father, Harry J. Ostrom, died at the family home, 3628 Third Avenue early Thursday morning. All victims of the Spanish Influenza, the death of the father being influenced materially by the infirmities of age.

Mr. Ostrom was a retired railroad man, having been in the service of the Union Pacific road for forty-eight years. He was also an old soldier and had been in the navy.

Funeral services for the three members of the family will be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at King's Chapel, the Rev. F.W. Evans of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
