Nellie Mae Ottmann, 81, 729 W. Washington Avenue, died Thursday at a Council Bluffs hospital following an extended illness.

Born at Underwood, she had resided in the Council Bluffs-Underwood vicinities most of her life. She had resided in Council Bluffs the past 15 years.

Mrs. Ottmann was the widow of Arthur F. Ottmann who died in July 1956, was a member of Central Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints, and a former member of the Does Drove of the Elks Lodge of Hot Springs, Ark.

Survivors include: four sisters, Mrs. Grace Cross, Mrs. Clara Rogers and Mrs. Neoma Brackney all of Council Bluffs, and Mrs. Nettie South of Huntington Park, CA; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Meyer Chapel, J. Donald Graybill, elder at the Central RLDS Church will officiate. Interment will be at the Downsville Cemetery.
