Ruth Carrie Pardoo, 82, who lived in this vicinity all her life and was a charter member of the First Presbyterian Church, died Friday at her home on Route 2, in Lewis Township. Death was due to senility after a lingering illness.

Mrs. Pardoo was born in Council Bluffs, Nov. 28, 1855. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. J.S. Dunne of San Diego, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews, among them Mrs. Adolph V. Jensen of Council Bluffs, whom Mrs. Pardoo raised.
