Dr. Richard Kenneth Peterson, 44, 201 Harrison Street, a chiropractor, died shortly after midnight Monday at University Hospital in Iowa city. The body is being returned here for burial. Dr. Peterson was born in Council Bluffs and was graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School and Los Angeles Chiropractic College, where he had been on the hospital staff. He was a member of the Reorganized Latter Day Saints Church and Beta Phi Sigma Fraternity.

Surviving are his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. J. Frank Peterson of Council Bluffs; a son Kenneth, Jr.; three daughters, Patsy, Betty and Carroll; and a brother Douglas Peterson in Kansas.
