NELLIE PHILLIPS, aged 40 years, wife of John Phillips, died of Spanish Influenza at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. C. Jones, 916 Fifth Avenue, after an illness of one week.

She was a member of the Maccabees and the Knights and Ladies of Security. Mrs. Phillips was a resident of Sidney, Iowa, and was visiting at the home of her sister when she was taken ill.

She is survived by: her husband, one daughter, Wauneta, at home; one son, Chester in France; one sister, Mrs. C. Jones, Council Bluffs, and a mother Mrs. Frank Allison, Council Bluffs.

Funeral announcement will be made later.
