HARRIET K. PLUMER, wife of John M. Plumer, died at 2 o'clock yesterday morning at Mercy Hospital, where she has been ill for the past week with appendicitis. She had been operated upon and was apparently recovering from her trouble, but there was a relapse, which resulted in death. The authorities of the hospital received permission to make a post mortem examination, after which it was announced that the death occurred as the result of kidney trouble. Mrs. Plumer was 42 years of age, and a member of the Catholic Church and of the Sacred Heart Society.

She leaves two young sons, John Knepper and Samuel Henry. She was a sister of Mrs. A.W. Riekman of Chadron, Nebraska. The funeral will be held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Francis Church and the remains will be buried in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
