John B. Price, 81, member of one of the pioneer families in Iowa, died Friday at a local hospital only an hour after he had been brought there by ambulance from his farm home in Hazel Dell Township. The son of Samuel and Margaret Boren Price, he was born and spent his entire life on the same farm. His parents were among the earliest settlers in Hazel Dell.

Surviving are: two sons, John of Honey Creek and Alma Wayne of Harlan; three daughters, Mrs. Myra Moss, Miss Leona and Miss Mary Price all of Honey Creek; a brother Samuel Cornelius Price of Tempe, Arizona; one sister, Miss Mattie Price of Council Bluffs and two grandchildren.
