Martin Whitney Raymond

Martin Whitney Raymond, 36, died of heart trouble, super-induced by tonsillitis, Saturday morning at his home, 814 Sixth Avenue, after an illness of eight days. He was born in Lewis Township and had resided in Council Bluffs and vicinity all his life. He was a member of the Masonic fraternity, the Woodmen of the World and of the First Presbyterian Church. He was employed by Hastings & Heyden of Omaha as cashier.

Surviving him are his widow, three sons, Lowell, Millard and Martin, and one daughter, Marion all at home. He also leaves a father, H.C. Raymond, of this city. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence. Bluff City Lodge of Masons will have charge of the services at the grave. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
