SOPHIA ELIZABETH REED, wife of W.T. Reed, died of lung trouble Wednesday morning at the home in Lewis Township. She had been ailing for the past seven years.

She is survived by: her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Hattie Morgan, Council Bluffs; Mrs. Merele Keso, Lockwood, Missouri, and Mrs. Nettie Westrip, Council Bluffs; and four sons, A.H. Reed and Robert S. Reed of Council Bluffs, James E. Reed of Woodbine, Iowa and Benjamin H. Reed with the army in France.

The body was taken to Woodring & Jackson's parlors. Burial will be in the Fisher Cemetery at Underwood.
