Helen Margaret Reimers, 85, of Minden, Iowa, passed away at the Salem Lutheran Home in Elk Horn, Iowa, on January 1, 1981. Funeral services were held Monday, January 5, 1981 at the United Church of Christ in Minden, Iowa. Helen was born on November 24, 1895 at Minden, Iowa, the daughter of Bertha (Groepper) Pieper and D. Herman Pieper.

On October 20, 1933, she was united in marriage to Jack Reimers at Treynor, Iowa. Jack passed away in 1953. She managed the Minden Branch of the Farmers and Merchants State Bank for several years, she was town clerk for the town of Minden and until she retired she was secretary of the Minden School. She was a member of the United Church of Minden.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers, Fred, Adolph, Alfred and Ferd; and three sisters, Emma Stuhr, Mathilda Stuhr and Meta Pieper.
