THE OBITUARY OFHenry Rishton |
HENRY RISHTON, aged 80 years, died October 12 at San Francisco, after a two years' illness of paralysis. He was born in England.
Mr. Rishton leaves three daughters, Mrs. Belle Murphy of Davenport, Washington; Mrs. Lida McMullen of Oklahoma, and Mrs. Corrine Colen of San Francisco; one son, Frederick of Berlin, Wisconsin; four brothers, Bland and Thomas of Council Bluffs, James of Neola and John of Hillyards, Washington; and two sisters, Mrs. E.S. Maxfield and Mrs. James, both of Council Bluffs.
Mr. Rishton was for many years a resident of Council Bluffs, but has more recently made his home in San Francisco. He has been a member of the county board of supervisors and an alderman from the First Ward. He was a member of the M.E. Church and of Bluff City Lodge, A.F. and A.M. The body will be brought to Woodring & Jackson's and there will be a Masonic funeral with interment in Fairview Cemetery.
