Clarence A. Russell

Clarence A. Russell, 85 a resident of Bethany Lutheran Home, died there Tuesday night following a long illness. Born in Oakland, he lived in Weston until 1976 when he retired and moved to Council Bluffs. He was the owner/operator of Russell's Service Station at Weston; a member of the Amber Masonic Lodge of Quick, and Hazel Dell Methodist Church. His wife, Charlotte, died in 1962.

Survivors include a son, Merle and daugher, Mrs. Wayne (Grethyl J.) Hanson both of Omaha; a sister Mrs. Fred (Maybelle) Taylor of Des Moines; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Meyer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Delbert Story, pastor of Hazel Dell United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Cedar lawn Cemetery.
