Eva V. Ryan, 85 of Missouri Valley died February 9 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha. Mrs. Ryan was born in Missouri Valley and graduated from Missouri Valley High school in 1927. She worked at J.C. Penneys and worked for Benos Department Store in Council Bluffs until her retirement. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Missouri Valley and Queen of Apostle's Catholic Church in Council Bluffs. Mrs. Ryan was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond.

Survivors include five sons: Gene of Bee Branch, Arizona; Jim of Longmont, Colorado; Harold of Seattle; Donald of Milpitas, California; and Richard of Indianapolis; one brother Harold Davenport of Tucson, Arizona; 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Missouri Valley with the Rev. James Kleffman officiating. Burial will be in St. Bridgets Cemetery in Boomer Twp.
