Fred Carl Chris Schnoor, 84, of Long Beach, California, died Monday at a Los Angeles, California hospital after an illness of two years.

Schnoor was a former resident of Treynor, where he was a member of Zion Congregational Church. He came to Iowa in 1901 from his native Germany.

Survivors include: three daughters, Mrs. Martha Stortenbecker and Mrs. Anna Hall both of Council Bluffs, and Mrs. Frieda Sessions of Carmell, California; three sons, Henry of Hastings, Ernest of Wilmington, California and William of Silver City; two sisters in Germany; 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Burial will be in Treynor.
