Word was received in this city Tuesday, announcing the death at Camp Dodge of Miss BARBARA SEILER, a graduate nurse of Council Bluffs, who had gone to the camp four weeks ago to help fight the epidemic among the soldiers. She contracted the disease, which she was fighting and succumbed to it. Miss Elizabeth Siler, a younger sister, and also a nurse is also at Camp Dodge.

Miss Seiler was 41 years old and was born in Germany. She made her home with her sister, Miss Elizabeth Seiler and a brother Antone L. Seiler at 2109 Avenue A. She is also survived by the following brothers: Joseph and Thomas of Carroll, Iowa, August of Boone, Iowa and George of Lanark, Missouri.

She was active in local Red Cross circles, and it was through that organization that she received the call to Camp Dodge. The body will come over the Rock Island and is accompanied by the sister and the brother of this city.

The funeral will be held Friday morning at 10:30 o'clock from the residence with open-air services at the grave in St. Joseph's Cemetery. The Rev. Father Herman will officiate.
